Garden apartment in Commercial Drive area of East Vancouver, suitable for a couple -- also summer home on the ocean 4 hours north of city. The city house has satellite tv/internet/stereo and all new kitchen appliances.

The summer home sleeps 4 and has all the same amenities, as well as room for camping.

It is possible to arrange a non-simultaneous exchange, since we like to travel in winter and most people prefer to visit Vancouver in summer. You can have our city home while we are at the beach and vice versa.

Very central to downtown Vancouver in Commercial Drive area with convenient shopping/transport. Many inexpensive places to eat Vancouver's famous abundance of diverse cuisines. 30 minutes from beaches or mountains to ski or hike. Small park with tennis court and soccer field 1 block away.

The summer home is a historic farmhouse on a wonderful safe beach 2 ferry rides north of Vancouver on the Sunshine Coast -- on an acre of land. Fully stocked with everything you need for a vacation by the sea.


About Us

We are retired and spend most of the "gardening months" up the coast, growing our own vegies and harvesting seafood. We also have a garden apartment in Vancouver. We love to travel in the spring, fall and winter. We have traveled extensively in Mexico.

More about us

We are interested in spending time in southern Ontario, Quebec, Chicago, New York, Scotland, France, Italy, Portugal, Spain, Eastern Europe. We don't mind visiting great cities in the winter, but prefer fall and spring for touring countrysides.
